Collection: Malin Lenz

Malin, a visual artist, specializes in painting and mixed media drawing. Originally from Düsseldorf, Germany, her passion for drawing emerged during her school years. This led her to complete an apprenticeship in architectural drafting and later earn a master's degree in architecture from BUGH Wuppertal, Germany.

With a decade-long career as an architect in Düsseldorf and Hamburg, Germany, Malin's artistic style leans towards graphic forms and shapes. Since relocating to Singapore in 2010, she has devoted her time and energy to painting, primarily using oil colors. She has progressively explored the medium and its unique advantages under the guidance of local artist Ernest Chan.

Drawn to the interplay of colors, structures, and shapes, Malin has created a diverse collection of artwork that reflects various stages of her life. Recently, she has been working on a series of mixed media pieces on wood, portraying the shophouses found in her immediate neighborhood. 

Malin has actively participated in exhibitions held in Singapore, Poland, and Germany, and has co-curated group exhibitions in Singapore. Her artistic achievements include winning an Excellence Award for the '4th Enter into Art 2018' International Installations in Germany.
